Cozy Dreamy Room is a timed room decoration game. The player uses a wide range of items in cardboard boxes to renovate various types of rooms for homes and businesses.
Each room represents a level of the game. The player must place all objects before time on an upper-center horizontal bar timer and a digital timer run out. They start by selecting the cardboard box. When an item appears floating in the air, they attempt to imagine the best place for it. If they guess correctly, it stops floating, slides into the nearby correct position, and then locks in place.
The game walks the player through this process initially with a training exercise that features matching semi-transparent object icons. Common items include doors, windows, curtains, flooring, rugs, furniture, pictures and plants. Objects don't always appear in a logical order. For example, the player might need to place curtains or a curtain rod on a wall before installing a window or a throw rug before a floor. Some items require placement outside the walls of a room as well, such as a lamp post outside a coffee shop room.
Cozy Dreamy Room offers two main lower-central tools. By using their coin winnings, daily rewards or ad views, a player can access a hint or freeze the timer. They can also receive more coins by viewing advertisements.
